I found Second Life in 2004, while looking for a job in San Francisco. Linden Lab had posted an ad to hire someone who would handle auctions of land. Their first suggestion was that I create an account, login, and see if I liked the environment before deciding whether to take the job or not. I did just that, and instantly fell in love with Second Life and the creative freedom it offered.
After speaking with the recruiter at Linden Lab a bit more, she saw that I had web design experience, and suggested that rather than applying for the Land Auctions position, that I should apply for the opening in their Web Design department. Needless to say, I did not get the position, or I would be Ayame Linden at this point. Bub Linden was the Victor! This was actually a blessing in disguise, as I landed a very nice position in a very large ad agency two weeks later.
I have been working in Second Life for 6 years, and full time for over 2 years now. It is not always easy. Sometimes it’s a real struggle, but it is enjoyable and liberating to be able to create whatever my mind can imagine. Creating content is my passion and I will continue to deliver the highest quality creations I can. I am starting this site to bridge the gap between myself and the people who enjoy my work. Please feel free to speak your mind and help me to improve the content I deliver to you.
To all of my loyal supporters and friends alike, Thank you for everything!
